Last updated 9 months ago

This is the maximum number of tokens that can be traded in a single transaction, including buys, sells, and transfers.

If you enable Max Tx setting you will be unable to use Max Buy setting.

How It Works

  • If the max transaction limit is set to 0.5% of the total supply:

    • With a total supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens, any single transaction (buy, sell, or transfer) cannot exceed 5,000,000 tokens.

Purpose

This feature is designed to limit the maximum number of tokens that can be moved in a single transaction. This can be applied to any type of transaction: buying, selling, or transferring tokens. The ability to adjust this limit over time allows for greater control during different phases of the tokenโ€™s lifecycle, particularly to prevent large-scale manipulation or protect against security risks.

Settings Explanation

  1. Initial Max TX:

    • Definition: This is the maximum number of tokens that can be involved in any single transaction when the token first becomes available or during the specified time interval.

    • Example: If you set this to 5, no transaction (buy, sell, or transfer) can involve more than 5% total supply in one go when the token is first launched.

  2. Time Interval (mins):

    • Definition: This field specifies the duration (in minutes) during which the initial Max Tx limit will be enforced. After this period, the limit can change to a new value (the Final Max Tx).

    • Example: If you set this to 60 minutes, the initial transaction limit will be in effect for one hour.

  3. Final Max TX:

    • Definition: This is the maximum number of tokens that can be involved in a single transaction after the specified time interval has passed.

    • Example: If the initial Max Tx was 5 and the final Max Tx is set to 10, then after one hour (based on the time interval example), the transaction limit increases to 10% tokens per transaction.
